I still remember the day I came across Beautiful You Coaching Academy (BYCA).
I had done a Google search for “best books for life coaches” and an article on their blog came up as one of the first results. “A good coach is a well-read coach,” it said. After reading through the suggested titles and scrolling to the bottom of the page, I saw that there was a training program and that applications were being accepted for the next cohort which started in a couple months. I clicked through and as soon as I landed on the BYCA home page, I knew I had found something special. There was no doubt in my mind, no hemming and hawing over the decision. I had found exactly what I was looking for, and I couldn’t wait to get started.
When I submitted my application, I had already completed my Health Coach Certification with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, as well as an additional business course for coaches who wanted to make a living in the online space. The only problem was, instead of putting myself out there and sharing my knowledge with the world, I was still hiding my gifts, denying my talents, and convincing myself that I didn’t have it in me to make my dreams come true. At that point, back in the summer of 2016, I knew that I wanted to work with women and that my niche would most likely focus on fertility. I figured that the training I would receive from BYCA would just give me some additional skills that I could use with clients.
I expected it to be like all the other online courses I had done . . .
Pay your tuition. Study on your own. Participate in a forum where no one really reads your work. Maintain a comfortable distance in the Facebook group. Before the course even started, I realized that those expectations were completely off the mark.
I’ll never forget the first time they reached out to me personally to make sure that I had received the course materials. They had been tracking them to make sure they arrived on time and suspected they had gotten stuck in customs. It sounds small, but even this initial email made me feel cared about in a way I never had been before in an online program. That was my first clue that I wouldn’t just be a number.
When I joined the first call, I was so excited to hear the voices of my fellow trainees and to connect with the lead trainer, none other than the CEO and founder herself, Julie Parker. It seems unbelievable now, but at that time, even introducing myself on a telecall gave me butterflies.
That was the start of my journey that has taken me from being a stay-at-home mom who had spent ten years of her professional life as a teacher to being a full-time Women’s Health Coach finally in alignment with my true calling and purpose.
What makes BYCA different?
As I mentioned above, you will be fully seen, heard, and appreciated from the very beginning. BYCA is a place where you will feel truly supported every step of the way. One thing you’ll hear over and over is that you get out of the program what you put into it, and what I got was above and beyond my expectations.
- Confidence in my abilities as a new and emerging coach.
- Constructive, personalized feedback on all of my assignments.
- A proven system for working with clients that gets results every time.
- Constant inspiration from the trainers and guest lecturers.
- Practical business knowledge that’s tailored to heart-centered coaches and entrepreneurs.
- The opportunity to become certified through a program recognized by the International Coaching Federation.
- A feeling of community with the other members of my cohort and the larger BYCA family.
I couldn’t be prouder to call myself part of the BYCA community. One of the reasons why BYCA is so exceptional is its commitment to diversity and inclusion. No matter how you identify, you will belong. You will be valued. You will be seen.
Interested in becoming a coach?
Because I believe so strongly in the BYCA training program and the type of people that it attracts, I have an exclusive offer for anyone who signs up through me: 6 x 1-hour mentoring sessions absolutely free. These six sessions can then be used towards your certification once you’ve completed the program.
As a woman who got divorced, became a single mother, and a solopreneur all in the same month, I know that finances can be an issue, especially when it comes to receiving high quality coaching and mentorship. I also know, however, what a difference it can make to have a woman who has been there and done that cheering you on and helping you learn from her mistakes. The BYCA training program will teach you everything you need to run a successful coaching business, but it’s up to you to put what you learn into action. By the time we finish working together, you’ll have followed through on everything you set out to do in the course, you’ll be clear on your direction, and have the courage and conviction to keep going.
And because I’m a Women’s Health Coach passionate about helping my clients balance their hormones and work in harmony with their menstrual cycles, you’ll get the added benefit of learning how to work towards your vision without burning yourself out in the process. No matter what your goals are for the future, you’ll need your health (and definitely you hormones) on your side to accomplish them.
Bottom line: I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support and encouragement of other women, and I would love to be that support and encouragement for you.
How can you take advantage of this special offer?
When you decide to apply to the Beautiful You Life Coaching Course make sure you enter my name (Jolinda Johnson) in the CODE field of the application. This is the only opportunity to reference my name and I unfortunately will not be able to offer the free 3-month coaching series to anyone who fails to complete this step.
***The free coaching series may be used towards your certification and can be started at any time once the refund period for the course has closed.
***You must begin the coaching series within three months of completing the BYCA course.
***As an affiliate of BYCA, I receive a commission for every trainee who signs up through me.
If you have any questions about the program, schedule a call and I would be happy to have a chat.
